Art in Public Space, Munich 2012
Reconstructing Future refers to the XX. Olympic Games in Munich 1972 that took place in Munich in 1972 and marked a changing point in the handling of public space. It was a paradigm shift from authoritarian control to a benevolent policy of laissez faire, then compromised and brought to an sudden stall by the assassination of The Black September Organization.
On the 40th anniversary of the Games 40 protagonists were roaming the streets of Munich recalling a lost future.
